TLDR: DoorDash has an useful promo where you can get 50% off delivery orders after an NBA player scores 50 points.

With the DoorDash NBA50 promo, you will get 50% off delivery orders (up to a $10 discount) when an NBA player scores 50+ points in a game the day before.
It’s important to note that the hours for the promotion on the following day are from 9 AM PT through 11:59 PM PT.
This promo is also only available for DashPass members. A lot of Chase cards offer complimentary DashPass. My Chase Sapphire Reserve® offers complimentary DashPass for 12 months.

Everytime someone scores 50 points this NBA season, go to your DoorDash immediately to make the most of the credit!
After you have added items from a restaurant, grocery store or convenience store, go to checkout. At checkout, you’ll see the “Deals and benefits” section—click there.

After clicking on the “deals and benefits” section there’s a space to enter a promo code at the top of the screen. You just type in “NBA50” and click apply.

Once you go to checkout, you’ll be able to see the difference in price with the NBA50 promo code applied.
You can use it once per account when it is available.
For example, Jokic and Jamal Murray scored 50+ points this December 2025. You would be able to use it once during each promotion period.
You get a monthly or quarterly benefit on non-restaurant orders with a number of Chase cards. The benefit is for up to $10 off on non-restaurant orders. The cool thing is you can use this Chase DoorDash credit along with the NBA50 promo at the same time on non-restaurant orders.

Here’s an order my friend made from a convenience store where he stacked the Chase DoorDash benefit on top of the NBA50 promo. $2.80 cents as a final total before tip on an order with a subtotal of $17.86! Absolutely fantastic.
If you have no immediate need to use your Chase DoorDash credits, it’s not a bad idea to wait and see if an NBA player scores 50+ points in a game so you can stack both credits in a given month.
In my case, I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve® so I get two $10 off non-restaurant order coupons every month via DoorDash. If I don’t need anything at the beginning of the month, sometimes I like to wait till the 15th or 20th of every month to see if an NBA player scores 50+ points.
The NBA50 promo that DoorDash is running is fantastic for DashPass members. It’s even better as a Chase cardholder as it often means you get complimentary DashPass (at least for some period of time). Another bonus as a Chase cardholder is that you get quarterly or monthly $10 off non-restaurant order coupons. A great opportunity to stack both! Whether you order from restaurants, grocery stores or convenience stores, there’s always an opportunity to save some money with the NBA50 promo on DoorDash.
